I enjoyed seeing your woodturnings. I noticed that you had a couple of turnings or Texas Ebony. I just had my first taste of this wood and, WOW is it hard! My project turned great as did yours but it was really hard to work with.

computer would not let me access your lathe evaluation list on www.nealaddy.org/pub/Lathe_List.html
I do like your turnings keep up the good work.

Thanks for the info on photographing turnings. I have been searching for a comprehensive article for awhile. Very well done! Looking forward to putting some of the things I learned into action...

Your work is beautiful. It must leave you with a very "content" feeling when you finish your piece to enjoy. I would have a hard time letting go of any of them.

I have spent a good part of yesterday and this morning reading everything you have provided in the photography section. I have made a copy and intend to refer back to it often. This might be the push that I have been needing to start photographing my turning. Thanks for a great site. There is so much good information. I plan on spreading the word about your web site to other turners.

Thanks, Kendall

Hi Neal, I just finished reading your photography section. I already feel like I'm a
better photographer and I haven't even picked up my camera. LOL
Thank you for all your hard work on this subject.

Neal, you answered a turning question for me today on WoodNet. About what PSI was. Appreciated. Been looking around your site here. Your work is just plain awesome. Really enjoyed the trip through your gallery. I'm working my way through the Turner's Corner now. Thanks for posting the info. Getting started part is really helpful. I'm signed up for a turning class at Palomar College here in SoCal this spring. Again, reallly nice work.

Neal,

I found your site by way of some meanderings stemming from the Segmented Turners new site. The work that you've done to present the information that you do is truly a gift to turners or any woodworkers for that matter - especially the sections on photography. WOW. Know that your site is very much appreciated. Thank you.

Lyndon

thanks for such an informative and simple expanation on photographing our works.
It is going to make a big difference to the way I do things in the future.
Regards.
