Shown with a Woodcraft 8" slow-speed grinder. Your grinder dimensions may vary.

Note that this is intended as a portable Wolverine/Grinder platform but you could use a similar concept on a benchtop or stand.  Just substitute the bottom MDF board with whatever you are going to mount the grinder to.

The platform base is a piece of 9"x20"x3/4" MDF.  The center riser is a 8"x6"x1/2" piece of plywood.  A riser is neccessary for getting the correct height (6-1/4") from base platform to wheel center.  The grinder base is mounted using two 2-1/2 carriage bolts.  1-1/4" wood screws are used to mount the Wolverine arm guides to the MDF.

The last shot shows the bottom of the platform.  The stock rubber feet have been removed from the grinder and large rubber pads attached to the bottom of the platform.  The carriage bolts are counter-sunk into the platform.
